Liam McWilliams, 18, of Eskdale Rise, Allerton, was fatally injured when the car he was driving hit a wall in Queensbury at 4am on Saturday 18th November.
He was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with head injuries and died eleven hours later. His uncle Steven Horgan remembered the football-mad teenager who idolised his nine-month-old daughter Paris.
Mr Horgan, 47, of Chelwood Drive, Allerton, told how he held Liam's hand as his life- support machine was switched off.

Liam, a labourer with Ainsley Doors in Brighouse, was a former pupil at Rhodesway School, Allerton.
A Manchester United fan, he played for Sandy Lane Football Club between the ages of nine and 13.
Mr Horgan said that around 300 people flocked to the hospital when they heard Liam had been badly injured.
"We were shocked by the flow of people at the hospital. A nurse told me she had never seen as many people attend an intensive care ward," he said.
Police say they suspect Liam was driving a stolen Ford Focus when it crashed near the junction of Brighouse Road and Vale Grove.
Liam was born in Bradford where his parents Suzanne McWilliams and Barry Parrington still live.
Mr Horgan, a businessman who works abroad, said Liam was kind-hearted and "a typical teenager".
"He was settling down. He enjoyed his job and he idolised his daughter," he said.
The family said that Liam's girlfriend Sinead Coyle was heartbroken.
Mr Horgan, who is married to Tracey and has sons Steven, 21, and Reece, 11, said Liam was living with his grandmother Marleen Parrington, 67.
Another uncle of Liam's, Ricky Bower, 40, of Abbey Lea, Allerton, said: "I am devastated. He was very popular and well thought of at work. Everyone liked him."
Mr Bower said that Paris would help to provide a lasting memory of him.
"He's got a beautiful daughter who will help us to repair our broken hearts," he said.
Mr Bower is thinking of organising football matches in the district as an annual tribute to Liam.
